Discussions on Quantum Spacetime

The participants in this five-day long workshop will engage in intense discussions on recent developments in the study of quantum gravity and quantum field theory. The nine academic sessions of this meeting each focus on different new thrust areas, namely Black hole microstate counting, Beyond AdS, Classical and Quantum Black Holes, New Developments in the S-Matrix, Strings and matrices, Emergence of Spacetime, The Expanding Universe, Chern Simons Theory and RCFT and New developments in Quantum Field Theory.

Session Format: The nine academic sessions are structured as follows. Each session will start with a 30-minute-long presentation from three of or four speakers. These presentations will be followed by an hour-long discussion session.

The participants in the meeting include all the (approximately 35) faculty, post-doctoral fellows, students and visitors to the Quantum Spacetime Group of the Department of Theoretical Physics at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research.
